Hon. Gaston Browne

STATEMENT BY THE POLITICAL LEADER OF THE ABLP

April 26, 2014 @ 7:45 PM
by ablpadmin
Last night I heard the Prime Minister accuse the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal of ‘extra ordinary and inexplicable delay.’ This is an extraordinary and disingenuous allegation by the Prime Minister, and another transparent example of a complete lack of honest leadership. The Court of Appeal is now his political excuse for his failures as Leader and the complete mess and delays engineered by himself, his party and cronies on the various Commissions. The Labour Party condemns this cheap shot at the integrity of the Court of Appeal. The Court is fully aware of its obligations to the people of [...]

MEDIA STATEMENT The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) has responded to the injudicious remarks made by the Speaker of the House, Hon. D. Gisele Isaac-Arrindell, on the Observer Radio program of Wednesday, April 23 2014. The Speaker asked aloud, while on the talk-show, “what is there to stop the Governor General from signing the order?” which the Speaker believes would then make lawful the proposed new boundaries of the constituencies in Antigua. The Speaker concluded that there were no impediments preventing signature, since the Constitution trumps any agreement that might have been made. The Speaker was basing her conclusions [...]

Londell Benjamin and Team Benjamin are working together to do everything they can to ensuring the residents of Rural West receive the representation they deserve when he is elected in the upcoming election."
