Lennox Weston is regarded as one of the most educated and renowned political minds in the Antiguan government. He studied at the University of the West Indies as a Huber Humphrey Fellow, and also took courses at Colorado State University, the University of Minnesota and Connecticut University. His specialties included public administration, business management and economic planning.

After completing his education, Mr. Weston worked for over 20 years with the Government of Antigua as Permanent Secretary and Financial Secretary. He then worked at the World Bank and U.S. Department of Agriculture, specializing in economics and research. Mr. Weston currently works as a private consultant, with clients including several agencies linked to the United Nations and private sector business. He works with his clients on issues involving business management, financial management, and environmental and natural resource management.

Mr. Weston has served as a senator in Antigua and Barbuda’s Parliament for more than six years. Additionally, he has served on the Boards of some of the world’s most prestigious financial institutions, including the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, Caribbean Development Bank, OECS Central Bank, Antigua Barbuda Development Bank, Antigua Fisheries, Ltd., Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute CARDI, and the Caribbean Fisheries Research Project.

In his community, he has served as President of Antigua’s National Football Association and has coached both cricket and football teams. He has hosted a public education talk show, UnCut, for almost a decade and is a writer-producer of Calypso music.
